In writing our letter regarding the Cuero Country Opry, printed in the July 19 edition, we failed to mention some very important people. We are truly sorry for this and absolutely could not have done this without you.
Thank you to Lee and Kay Tillman for all of their support of the Opry and the Pilot Club of Cuero. Lee’s vision for this musical event is appreciated by so many. The Pilot Club is so thankful for your generosity in allowing us to host the show as part of our projects and for your continued monetary support for the performers when needed. There are not enough thank yous to tell you how grateful we are for all you’ve done for us and our Opry.
Gerry and Linda Zengerle, co-owners of Reuss Pharmacy, have been so gracious throughout the years by donating multiple items for door prizes, storing our Pilot supplies, preparing our soldier care packages with the wonderful help of Gail Morton and selling tickets/certificates to the Opry. The list goes on. Thank you for all your support for the Opry and for the Pilot Club of Cuero. You have given so much time and donations to aid our mission and we appreciate it more than words can say.
Pilot Club president
On behalf of the Pilot Club of Cuero
