Several qualify for Junior Olympics, team raising funds

   On June 27 the summer track team traveled to Converse to compete at the National Qualifier track meet held at the D.W. Rutledge Stadium at Judson High School.
   “This is the most we have seen in a while who have qualified to go to the Junior Olympics,” said Coach Victor Mathis.
   Competing in the “A” group Intermediate 4x100 are Kyron Williams, Tre’Zeon Miles, Kamron Mathis, and Jairus Eldridge. They placed fourth at National Qualifier. 
   K. Mathis will also compete in the long jump and triple jump. In the long jump he placed fourth and in the triple jump he placed second with a jump of 41’9”.
