Lady Gobblers receive all-district honors

 

Nearly all members of the Lady Gobblers volleyball team were selected for all-district honors. The team had a 23–14 overall record (7–4 district). Two Lady Gobblers were named to the first team, two were named to the second team, four received honorable mentions, and ten were named to the academic all-district team. 
 
Martina Stavinoha was named the District 26-3A newcomer of the year. Stavinoha led the team with 282 kills and 183 block assists and tallied for the season 65 digs and 7 assists.
 
Juniors Missy Odom and Justyce Turner were named first team.
