Nordheim ISD starting new program


Another first for Nordheim Independent School District is underway as steps are being taken for the school to have a baseball and softball high school program. 
Tim Scherwin, Nordheim teacher/coach said, “It may take a couple of years. It will give opportunities to kids who may not have an interest in other sports.”
Nordheim School superintendent Kevin Wilson said, “When I hired Tim, he had the background and we felt that this was a good time to start up the program.”
The softball program is still in its infancy and steps are being taken to ensure to have the support and interest to keep the program ongoing.
