CDC deliberates sale of building

The Cuero Development Corporation held a regular meeting on July 21. With a full agenda the public was primarily interested in the deliberation of the sale of 11.89 acre tract of land close to Pebble Ridge Estates and the sale of a 35,000 square foot building and the land of 3.948 acres it sits on.
Lillian Smith, vice president of Turnquist Partners Realtors and realtor agent for Geo Southern Holding said, “[Geo Southern Holding] is extremely interested. We presented to the board (via email on July 21) an offer of $675,000. That is $450,000 for the building and $225,000 for the land.”
During a special CDC meeting held on July 7, a motion was made by Shay Iacoponelli, seconded by Richard Weber, to accept an offer from Geo Southern Holding, contingent on earnest money, a contract for the 35,000 square foot building and property for $625,000. The board voted unanimously for it.
