Applications for ballots by mail must be received by Oct. 24

The first day the DeWitt County Elections Office can begin accepting Applications for Ballot by Mail for the upcoming Nov. 4 general election is Friday, Sept. 5. Those who have already been receiving a ballot by mail during this calendar year will not need to reapply for this election.
Annual ballot by mail applications expire on Dec. 31 and will need to be renewed every year.
To be eligible to vote early by mail, voters must: be 65 years or older; be disabled; be absent from the county on Election Day; be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible; or be qualified to participate in the Address Confidentiality Program.
Friday, Oct. 24 is the last day the DeWitt County Elections Office can receive applications for ballot by mail for the upcoming Nov. 4 general election.
