Hunt Elementary thanks Health Department

Dear Editor,

Hunt Elementary would like to thank the DeWitt County Health Department for the flu vaccine clinic they held for our faculty and staff.

We appreciate their efforts and time in keeping our faculty healthy by providing the vaccine and the convenience that it provides for our staff.

The Cuero Health Department is very fortunate to have these special people working for our county. A big thank you to Tracey Blank, Carol Rau and Kristie Griffin.

Sincerely,

"I hope I still have freedom of speech"

Dear Editor,

I thought I had seen it all. A suspect individual was advertising the impeachment of President Barack Obama across the street from the DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office. President Obama inherited this mess (the wars, the deficits, the complete deterioration and the steadily increasing criminality of America since the Reagan era). Is there really that much freedom of speech in Cuero? My questions are as follows: Does the man who runs the service station own it? Why not the impeachment of the dumb Bush?

It would have been sad to me except I couldn’t quit laughing at the stupidity of it all. I hope I still have freedom of speech.
