Deputies from the DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1100 block N. Hunt in Cuero at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13.
The search warrant was in response to alleged drug trafficking that was occurring from the residence. The search warrant netted 12 grams of marijuana as well as drug paraphilia.
DeVonte Jackson, 18, of Cuero was arrested and charged with one count possession of drug paraphilia and four counts of delivery of marijuana in a drug free zone. Jackson is being held on bonds totaling $44,000.
Martin Perez, 19, of Cuero was charged with possession of marijuana in a drug free zone and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
Both are currently being held at the DeWitt County Jail.
