On Saturday, March 2, the Yorktown Volunteer Fire Department was called to contain a fully involved structure fire late in the afternoon. The fire consumed the 5th wheel rv and some surrounding belongings. The fire was exacerbated by the gusty winds.The firefighters were on the scene for about 2 hours until the flames were extinguished. There were no injuries reported.
