On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the Kitty Kats traveled to Woodsboro to open play in District 31-2A. Yorktown jumped out to an early 8-1 lead and, after a couple of Woodsboro 3-pointers, held a 12-6 lead at the end of the first quarter.
