The COVID-19 virus caught up with six employees of Alamo Lumber in early June, which was roughly half their employees, according to Manager Steve Kolhoff.

“The store had to close for half a day,” he said. “The very next day we opened with the assistance of employees from other Alamo stores.”

Kolhoff said the employees all tested positive on the same morning, while the rest of the staff were negative. Alamo’s COVID protocol is for positive-testing employees to complete a paid 10-day quarantine.
