The Republican Women of the Yoakum Area (RWOYA) announced their keynote speakers for their next meeting/ luncheon, on Wednesday, March 12, as Lavaca County Sheriff Steven Greenwell and Lavaca County Attorney James Reeves. The speakers will share information on the status of law enforcement and the justice system situation in Lavaca County.
RWOYA is a Republican Women’s Organization with men, as associate members from Lavaca, Gonzales, and DeWitt Counties. Meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Yoakum Community Center, 105 Huck St., Yoakum. Lunch is served with freewill donations appreciated. Program speakers focus on political topics. The RWOYA Mission is to educate voters and support Republican candidates. Visitors are encouraged and welcome.
