1. To be reclaimed by her pet parents, or 2. To connect with a new set of pet parents.
This is a very smart dog as it spent the weekend at the Cuero Walmart. The staff felt it was either looking for its family or knew that it would be seen by many shoppers and therefore surely someone would take it home. No such luck!
So PAOC came to the rescue and took in the canine, so it would not cause a traffic incident or be bothersome to the public. It was named MARTINA once it arrived at the shelter. The dog has been posted on many lost and found and personal facebook pages and still no responses.
MARTINA is friendly, social, fine around other canines, likes kids and adults (and even kind of ignores the cats). She has been spayed and now, thanks to PAOC, she is microchipped and up to date on all her shots.
If anyone recognizes her and wants to claim her as your long lost pet or your family would like to adopt her - please get in touch with PAOC at 361-243-8550. You can meet MARTINA and 45+ other homeless but adoptable pets at the shelter located at 407 US Highway 183 South, Cuero. PAOC is open every day - yes all 7 days of the week from 8 till noon.
MARTINA is waiting for you!
