On February 24, the boys golf team consisting of Cameron Willis, Kolton Eckhardt, Connor Saunders, Brody Metting, and Colton Rogers debuted their skills in the Weimar Wildcat Invitational. The team tallied an overall 348 score, awarding them second place behind Schulenburg. Other teams participating include: Brazos, Columbus, Ganado, Giddings, Hallettsville, Sacred Heart, Sealy, Shiner, and Weimar.
Senior Willis captained the Wildcat squad with a second place individual finish in a field of 74 golfers. Willis shot a 78 and was inched out of first by three strokes to Reid Janda from Schulenburg. Eckhardt had a top ten finish shooting an 83. The remaining team members Saunders, Metting, and Rogers shot 92, 95, 105, respectively.
In girls action the team consisting of Sydnie Krueger, Ashlie Gaida, Lila Buch, Braleigh Dodds, and McKinley Rogers shot a cumulative total of 479. Evelyn Merks participated as an individual. Bellville finished with a team total of 393 and placed first overall. Other teams involved include Weimar, Sealy, Hallettsville, Ganado, Giddings, Columbus, Brazos, two teams from Shiner and Sacred Heart. Dodds led the way for the Kitty Kats shooting 116, ending in a six way tie and placing in the top 30 out of a field of 78 golfers.
