On March 1, Brycen Allman, a Yorktown resident and high school senior, was crowned Miss San Antonio Teen USA. This accolade marks a significant milestone in Allman’s budding pageantry career, which has already seen her recently earn three other prestigious titles, including Miss Yorktown, Teen Texas Regency International, and Miss Victoria.
The Miss San An- tonio Teen USA pageant, known as the “Pageantry of Power,” is regarded as one of the most prestigious local pageants in the United States. Participants are meticulously judged across several categories, including personal interviews, fitness, and evening gown presentations. The criteria for assessment involve poise, personality, intelligence, and beauty— all elements that epitomize the multifaceted nature of a modern beauty queen.
Reflecting on her recent victory, Allman stated, “My favorite part of the San Antonio USA pageant was getting to know every contestant over the past three weeks. I never felt like I was competing against anyone; instead, I focused on learning about each girl and what they were passionate about. Supporting everyone throughout the competition was a joy, and I will always cherish the memories and friendships I formed.”
