With the local pet shelter and rescue currently housing more than 35 dogs and 25 cats - there is always lots of work and chores to be done daily. Recently the Meyersville 4-H Club came to the rescue and planned an “in house” service day to help out. The energetic team brought lots of cleaning supplies as well as pet food donations. The canines were walked, bathed, and socialized and the kitties got plenty of attention too.
The Pet Adoptions of Cuero staff is so appreciative of the local support for the non profit adoption and rehoming facility. The pets love seeing new friendly faces. It helps them transition from being a forgotten kenneled dog or cat into one that is adoptable and ready to bond with their new forever family. Thank you to Meyersville 4-H - you made a difference in showing compassion and attention to the PAOC fur babes.
