April 27th – May 3rd is designated as Patient Experience Week, which is a time to honor our staff and highlight the extraordinary dedication and commitment to high-quality and compassionate care that we deliver to our patients. We created a video, available on our YouTube Channel, to shine the spotlight on the excellent care given at CRH. The video can be found at www.You-Tube.com, search Cuero Regional Hospital; Cuero Regional Hospital Patient Experience 2025 or go to; https://youtu.be/ uMpbAbmihJY Patient Experience (PX) Week is brought to the healthcare community by The Beryl Institute, the global community of practice dedicated to improving the patient experience through collaboration and shared knowledge.
One of the ways in which we track our patient experience is by regularly surveying our patients about the care they received at our facilities. Cuero Regional Hospital/Cuero Health works with Press Ganey to conduct this nationally benchmarked, objective patient satisfaction survey. Here is how the survey process works: Press Ganey randomly selects patients who have recently had an experience at Cuero Regional Hospital/Cuero Health.
Those patients will receive a survey either by mail, email, or text message. (If you ever receive one of our surveys – please complete it! We value your feedback.)
The survey asks patients a series of questions related to their individual experience. These responses are collected by Press Ganey and converted to numeric scores in the following ways: All questions are rated by the patient’s individual experience and scored 0 - 100.
All patient scores of individual questions are compiled to provide snapshot of how our patients responded to that particular question.
Press Ganey then compares our scores to the scores of more than 10,000 health care organizations in their database. A high percentile rank is better than a low percentile rank, with the highest percentile rank being the 99th and the lowest being the 1st.
“I am proud to say that choosing our facility means choosing compassionate, high-quality care close to home. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to patient safety, personalized treatment, and continuous improvement, ensuring every patient receives the best possible experience. We combine advanced medical technology with a warm, community-focused approach— because here, you're not just a patient, you're family. A culture of safety. A commitment to care. Always for our patients.” Chancee Bubela, RN, Quality Director, at Cuero Regional Hospital.
