Feast features local fare

STAFF R EPORT Families, friends, and new acquaintances gathered to enjoy a feast featuring farm-fresh Texas ribeye, turkey stuffed with spinach, and sides of potatoes, corn, and spinach salad adorned with berries at Cuero’s 6th Annual Hometown Harvest on Main, held on Monday night, April 28. Live music by Matt Thigpen and Dave Williams flowed with the SEE HARVEST, PAGE wonderful spirits of beer and wine from Ranch House Spirits & Gifts, and gusts of wind provided by nature herself.
Members of Cuero’s _rst Mayor’s Youth Council and the 4-H served the food at the 6th Annual Hometown Harvest on April 28. Diners had to battle a bit of wind, but made it into a scrumptious dessert from the Mad Batter Bakery. Proceeds from this year’s celebration will bene_t DeWitt 4-H, DeW...
