Each year, the Miss Teen Texas title is awarded to a young woman who exemplifies poise, intelligence, and community involvement. The competition includes various segments such as interviews, evening wear, and activewear. At the 2025 Miss Texas Teen USA pageant, held at the Hilton Houston Post Oak, Brycen Allman, representing San Antonio, made a remarkable impression, earning the title of First Runner-Up and Physical Fitness winner.
Aspiring contestants must first secure a position in a local competition, which is held throughout the year across Texas. These local pageants serve as the foundation for the state competition. Previously, Brycen Allmann was crowned Miss San Antonio Teen USA and, therefore, vyed for Miss Texas Teen USA.
Allman stood out among a competitive field of talented young women. Her journey to the top five was marked by grace, intelligence, and a commitment to her community. As a student at Yorktown High School, she balances heracademicpursuits with her passion for public speaking, golf, baking, babysitting, and cheerleading. Her favorite color is pink, and most notably, Allman has undergone scoliosis surgery, which involved the placement of two rods and 14 screws in her back—a testament to her resilience and determination.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the Miss Teen Texas pageant emphasizes the importance of social impact initiatives. Contestants are encouraged to advocate for causes they are passionate about, using their platform to inspire change and make a difference.
Allman’s platform, “Coloring Kindness,” was inspired by her experience in the hospital recovering from scoliosis surgery.
“During my recovery, I faced many challenges, and I wanted to find a way to give back to patients who are going through similar struggles,” commented Allman.
She now donates coloring books and crayons to hospitals and emergency rooms, hoping to “put a smile on a patient’s face.” This platform has reached across Texas as she has donated hundreds of items across several locations within Texas. Allmann said she will continue this effort to make a positive impact in the world.
As First Runner-Up, Allmann has the opportunity to represent Texas at the national level, potentially stepping into the role of Miss Texas Teen USA if the titleholder is unable to fulfill her duties.
Regardless of titles, her story is already serving as an inspiration to young women statewide. As she continues her advocacy and education, Allmann’s future appears as bright as the stage lights under which she earned her crown.
