Pet Adoptions of Cuero has a new roster of mini-pets! The sweet, petite, neat small breed canines are definitely a favorite pet choice for apartment dwellers and senior citizens. The chihuahua's will always be a small dog, a cuddly dog, and the kind who favors a warm lap for a nap every day of the year.

love this breed is because they are low maintenance. They can do their business inside on piddle pads or in /out side with careful supervision - wearing a collar and a leash so they don't slip away. They also become very attached to their pet parent, and if they are adopted as a duo, they will self entertain each other as well as cuddling up together in a cozy spot for their evening bedtime.
They love to be carried too, but please don't make them tag along in your purse! While this breed looks adorable in dresses and outfits, they really don't want to wear the latest in Carter Cowboy attire.
Here's just three of the 10 chihuahua pups and adult canines at the shelter - come meet them all and try one on for size. Located at 407 US Highway 183 South, Cuero, Pet Adoptions of Cuero is open every day of the year from 8 till noon or call for a late afternoon appointment 361-243-8550.
