DCRSPA
The DeWitt County Retired School Personnel Association (DCRSPA) has awarded our $1,000.00 Scholarship for the 2024-2025 School year. This year we selected a Cuero Senior, Alexis Flessner as our winner. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Flessner of Cuero. She plans on attending Cisco College in Cisco, TX. There she will continue her education and softball career.
Some profound statements from her essay were: 'I have always had a spot in my heart to become a teacher ever since I was a little kid. By becoming a teacher, I won't only teach little kids, but I will do so much more. I want to be a role model for them to show them how life can be exciting even when in school!'
We wish Alexis and all of our graduating Seniors the very best as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
Our DCRSPA has now 77 members. We invite all retiring school personnel to join us.
