A Memorial Day Ceremony will be hosted by the DeWitt County Vietnam Veterans of America, Monday, May 26th, at 10:30 a.m. The Ceremony will take place at the VVA/ DeWitt County Veteran’s Memorial Helicopter Site in Yorktown.
This ceremony is one of the largest in the area, with attendance increasing annually. The ceremony includes honors to those who sacrificed their lives serving our nation; a very dynamic Army Helicopter Pilot/ PHI Medical Flights Pilot will serve as our guest speaker. VVA Members will provide Color Guard, Rifle Salute, Thirteen Folds of the Flag, Taps and much more.
Following the Ceremony, another exciting auction for a Henry Golden Boy “Military Edition” Rifle will be held. All are welcome to attend, to honor those “WHO GAVE ALL” to protect the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
