MAY 16, 2025 NUMBER OF HEAD: 1292 Packer cows and bulls were consistent with last week’s prices. The cattle futures board dropped $6-7 the last few days which caused some fluctuations. Lighter cattle took the biggest hit in both classes. However, overall the market was fairly steady with last week’s numbers. Even with the futures board dropping this week, the market is still great. With the Mexican border closing, we anticipate cattle prices to rise.
