Families share passion for crafting, entrepreneurship

On a 93º cloudy day, with a gentle breeze weaving through the air, the Downtown Cuero Artisan Market came alive under the Cuero Municipal Library Pavilion on May 24. Twenty vendors set up their booths, showcasing a delightful array of offerings that included mouthwatering baked goods, stunning acrylic artwork, fresh vegetables and plants, exquisite jewelry, and intricate quilts.

Twenty vendors set up their booths, showcasing a delightful array of offerings that included mouthwatering baked goods, stunning acrylic artwork, fresh vegetables and plants, exquisite jewelry, and intricate quilts.

This year the name of the monthly gatherings of vendors under the library pavilion has changed from Farmer’s Market to Artisan Market to showcase the handmade crafts on offer.
