Hello All, The third class of the Cuero Citizens Police academy graduated on May 20. I urge you to consider attending next year. Thus far there are 20+ alumni, who assist the Cuero Police department for events when manpower is needed.
On May 22nd the public gathering for Mr. Matthys at the park clubhouse was well attended. Mr. Matthys thanked the city staff for the work and support given to him during his tenure on the council.
I delivered a speech at the American Legion Memorial Day ceremony on Monday May 26; I reminded those present as the years go by the signifi cance of the day will diminish unless every American keeps stressing the importance of “Memorial Day.” We must continue to revere and pass on our strong convictions on to future generations the significance of the lives lost so that we may remain free.
