The Cuero ISD Education Foundation is excited to announce the return of its signature fundraiser, the Concert for Classrooms, set to take place on Saturday, November 8. The Foundation is now actively seeking sponsors to help bring this high-energy event to life—and more importantly, to help fund meaningful educational opportunities for Cuero ISD students and teachers.
This year’s event promises an unforgettable night of music, community spirit, and purpose. Headlining the evening is ABBAMANIA: A Tribute to ABBA, the world’s leading ABBA tribute band. Known for their dazzling costumes—designed by the original seamstress for “Mamma Mia”—and note-perfect harmonies, ABBAMANIA will take concertgoers on a nostalgic journey through hits like “Dancing Queen,” “Waterloo,” and more. The evening kicks off with an exclusive VIP Party from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cuero Country Club, followed by the concert at 7 p.m. at the Cuero ISD Performing Arts Center.
The true star of the night, however, is the cause. All proceeds from the Concert for Classrooms benefit the Cuero ISD Education Foundation, which supports teacher grants and student enrichment programs that fall outside the scope of traditional school funding. From classroom innovation to mental wellness initiatives, the impact of sponsor support is seen in every corner of the district.
Sponsorship packages are now available at a variety of levels, each offering a blend of recognition, VIP access, and event perks. Platinum sponsors contributing $20,000 will receive 12 concert tickets with prime seating, 12 VIP Party invitations, a 30-second digital ad played at more than a dozen community events, and premier logo placement across all promotional materials. Gold-level sponsors at $10,000 receive 10 tickets, 10 VIP invites, and prominent branding throughout the campaign. Album of the Year sponsors at $5,000 enjoy tickets, 8 VIP passes, and strong name placement across signage and programs, while Song of the Year sponsors at $2,500 receive 6 tickets and event program recognition. For $1,000, Single of the Year sponsors receive 4 tickets and name recognition during the concert and in printed materials. And for smaller businesses or individuals, the One Hit Wonder package at $500 includes 2 concert tickets and listing in the official event program. All sponsorships include entry to the VIP Party and help make a direct impact in Cuero classrooms.
The value of this event goes far beyond the stage. Thanks to sponsor support in the previous year, the Foundation funded projects like “Classroom VR,” a $15,616 initiative that brought immersive virtual field trips and interactive learning into everyday lessons. “The Chill Zone,” funded at $4,757, created a sensory room to help students manage anxiety and improve focus. Grants like “Engineering the Future,” “Culinary Prep Tables,” and “Safe Units for Creative Sets” gave students hands-on experiences in robotics, culinary training, and theater production. Sensory tools for Life Skills classrooms and professional dyslexia intervention training for teachers were also made possible, all because of community support.
The Cuero ISD Education Foundation was established in 2002 with a mission to enhance educational excellence through private support. Every sponsorship of the Concert for Classrooms is not just a ticket to a great night—it’s a vote of confidence in the future of Cuero ISD and a direct investment in student success.
