Ethan Scott Pierce

Ethan Scott Pierce, 34, of Victoria, passed away after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Ethan was born April 22, 1990 in Corpus Christi to Charlotte Delorse Echols Pierce and the late Rodney Phillip Pierce.

Ethan Scott Pierce, 34, of Victoria, passed away after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Ethan was born April 22, 1990 in Corpus Christi to Charlotte Delorse Echols Pierce and the late Rodney Phillip Pierce.

Ethan was many things, from a son, grandson, Brother, Husband, Father, and friend to many. He was a tow Boat captain with Kirby for 10 years and The captain of the Three Rivers tow-boat for 4 years. Ethan loved to do many things in life, like traveling, Ranching, Riding motorcycles, fishing, playing guitar, and going out dancing. His favorite was sitting on the porch and bullshitting with family and friends and watching nature. Ethan had many accomplishments in his life. His most significant accomplishment was becoming a husband to Erica and a father to his boys Zane and Wyatt. Ethan loved life to the fullest; he was always up for the next adventure, like Cliff jumping in New Mexico, where he broke his Foot, and sending pictures of landmarks to family so they could guess where he was currently working.

Ethan is survived by his wife, Erica Pierce of Victoria; his pride and joy, sons, Zane Dolan and Wyatt Steel Pierce; mother Charlotte Pierce of Cuero; grandmother Dot Echols of Cuero sisters, Nacole Pierce and husband, Mike Martin of New Braunfels, Terra Pierce of Cuero; Sabrina (Beanie) Martinez of Houston; nephews, Michael Pierce, Finley Hall and niece, Elva Pierce.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rodney Pierce, and grandfather, David Echols and Roger Pierce.

Visitation for friends and family will be Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 1-2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 2 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Mission Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Steven Trimblay Jr., Dylan Slovacek, Collin Williams, Erin Pardon, Daniel Boudreaux and Robby Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Valintine, Samual Hall, Mike Martin.
