The Republican Women of the Yoakum Area announces the keynote speaker for their next meeting/ luncheon, on Wednesday, July 9. Justice Ken Wise is a judge for the Texas14th Court of Appeals in Houston and an expert in Texas history.
RWOYA is a Republican Women’s Organization with men, as associate members from Lavaca, Gonzales, and DeWitt Counties. Meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Yoakum Community Center, 105 Huck St., in Yoakum. Lunch is served and freewill donations appreciated. Program speakers focus on political topics. The RWOYA Mission is to educate voters and support Republican Candidates. Visitors are encouraged and welcomed to attend.
