June 13, 2025 Number of Head: 418 We were blessed to receive amazing, plentiful rain. Cuero received around 5-6 inches of rain with some of our customers reporting up to 12 inches! This week we had 101 cows, 7 bulls and 11 sheep/ goats. The packer cows and bulls were once again consistent with last week’s figures. The calf market continues to be unbelievably amazing and the demand for cattle remains very strong. Although the rainfall kept our volumes low, we had another record-breaking week. We had a deal of calves avg. weight of 612 lbs. that brought $3.85 per pound for a total of $2356.20. Packer bulls: Higher yielding 178.00-190.00 Lower yielding 122.00-170.00 Packer cows: High yielding 155.00-166.00 Medium yielding 130.00-155.00 Poor & Weak 105.00-126.00 Palpated: 37 bred $2000-3000 Pairs: 4 pair $3100-3500 Steer/Bull Calves: (AVG-HIGH)
