The Yorktown High School Class of 1963 celebrated their 62nd Year Reunion on Saturday, June 7, at 5-D Restaurant. The original class consisted of 52 classmates with a current remaining 45 count. In attendance were 21 classmates along with spouses and family members. A social from 11 am to 4 pm allowed classmates an opportunity to renew friendships, view memorabilia and share current events. A delicious lunch provided by donations was served to everyone’s enjoyment.
The YHS Class ’63 Reunion Committee Members (Alex Bock, Alice (Dlugosch) Poage, Dennis Henze and Elaine (Hruska) Malina) were acknowledged and thanked for their talent and many hours donated to planning the event. Also, donors recognized were: lunch and beverages courtesy of Lin and Wallace Migura, venue charge courtesy of Michael Gwosdz (son of Mary (Respondek) Gwosdz along with Alex and Patricia for 5-D gratuity, salad bowl and dessert cobbler.
