Sad news and celebrations surround this year’s Fourth
Hello my fellow Cueroites, First and foremost I start this message on a sad note. My prayers and deepest condolences go out to the family of Ruth Killough, who was involved in a vehicle-pedestrian accident, on Friday July 4th. Ms. Killough passed away due to her injuries. I talked to Caleb Davis (Son) since then and personally offered my condolences. You are in my prayers young man.
Secondly, please keep the people and families of our fellow Texans upstream on the Guadalupe River in your prayers. Such a catastrophic event unfolding this Fourth of July weekend, the Cuero Chamber of Commerce and the Cuero Development Corporation (CDC) are sponsoring an assistance drive, accepting gift cards to assist flood victims.
