GOOD THINGS SUMMER SERIES The next lunch and learn gathering of the “Good Things Summer Series: Open for Growth” is July 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Cuero Country Club, 1305 ES Railroad Street. Hosted by the Cuero Development Corporation (CDC) at no charge to businesses, the series is designed to help local small businesses grow and prosper. FUN AFTER 5 ARTIST EXTRAVAGANZA Join us for the Cuero Chamber of Commerce “Fun After 5” & Artist Extravaganza on Thursday, July 17th at 5:30 p.m. at the Cuero Heritage Museum, located at 124 E. Church St. This special event will honor local artists and showcase unique artworks, with new artists also featured in the latest exhibit. 63RD BADEREINHARDT REUNION

The 63rd reunion of the Bade-Reinhardt descendants will be held on Saturday, July 19, at St. Peter & Paul's Catholic Church fellowship hall in Meyersville, TX. Hosts for this reunion are members of the Henry J. Bade family. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. and a potluck lunch will be served at noon. Families should bring a meat dish and a side dish or dessert. All paper goods will be furnished, along with tea, water and lemonade. A brief meeting will follow the lunch and attendees are encouraged to stay for the afternoon for games and visiting. SHINER GASLIGHT PLAY Now is the time to reserve your vouchers/ tickets for the Shiner Gaslight summer play, “The Voice of the Prairie.” Directed by Leslie Buesing, this play is a “sentimental journey” through a more innocent, yet ambitious time when radio opened the world of imagination to the listening audience. Call 361-5942079 between SUBSTITUTE, CAFETERIA, BUS DRIVER TRAINING The Cuero ISD will hold two substitute trainings on Tuesday, July 22, one at 8:30 a.m. and another at 1:30 p.m. The training will be in the Cuero ISD Admin. Office, located at 960 E. Broadway, Cuero. This training will provide individuals wishing to work in the classroom, cafeteria, or driving a bus with information necessary for success while substituting in the district. This also includes state mandated training for Safety and Security and Stop the Bleed Training. All substitutes must attend this training. RESCHEDULED GOLF TOURNEY The Cuero Health Men’s Health Golf tournament has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 26th. Held at the Cuero Municipal Golf Course, this tournament is a 4 man scramble. Registration at 8 a.m., tee off at 9 a.m. This annual event highlights the importance of primary care, routine checkups, and necessary screenings that all men need to make a priority, to lead healthy lives. Free PSA screenings are available, the morning of the tournament, to registered players. A lunch is served to all the players and cash prizes are given to the top five teams. 2026 NORDHEIM STOCK SHOW

VALIDATION

Steer and breeding cattle validation for the January 31, 2026, Nordheim FFA Stock Show will be held on Saturday morning, Aug. 2, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Nordheim School FFA Barn. Junior FFA and FFA students in grades 3-12 are eligible to show steers and present a breeding animal (s), if the student meets the criteria as stated in the General Rules of the Nordheim FFA Stock Show.
