While humans run for the nearest ice cream truck or icy treat van for a summer refresher, the lucky pups at Pet Adoptions of Cuero were gifted with their own custom-made frozen concoctions this week.
Under the direction of Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center's Activity Director Jennifer Wilson the residents crafted dozens and dozens of delightful icy treats. Using 'bone' shaped forms or little pill cup shapes, they whipped together pumpkin puree and greek yogurt. After just a short time in the freezer, these tasty treats were ready to be licked.
Stopping by to deliver the donations to the shelter were Jennifer Wilson and Amanda Garcia of Cuero Nursing and PAOC's Lizzie Rosson on hand to test them on some anxious pups. One of the lucky pups, HERSHEY wasted no time enjoying this perfect summertime cool edible.
