Courtesy of the Cuero Chamber of Commerce The Cuero Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the 17th Annual World Series of Cuero Texas Hold ’Em Tournament, taking place on Saturday, August 2, at The Venue on Church Street in Cuero. This fun and competitive evening draws players from across the region for a chance to win the coveted championship bracelet and other prizes—all while supporting the Chamber’s mission to promote local business and community growth.
This year’s grand prize package is valued at $5,000, and once again, Deutsch & Deutsch has generously sponsored the sterling silver championship bracelet, which will be awarded to the tournament winner. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., and the main event kicks off at 1 p.m. Players are encouraged to take advantage of the Early Bird Special by signing up before August 2 to receive an extra $2,000 in chips—an exclusive bonus that can offer a significant edge at the table.

The World Series of Cuero serves as one of the Chamber’s largest fundraisers of the year, supporting ongoing efforts to grow local business visibility, tourism, and economic vitality. Cuellar emphasized the vital role sponsors play in helping the Chamber carry out its mission: “This tournament isn’t just a fun day—it’s a critical fundraiser that supports the Chamber’s year-round efforts to promote local businesses, tourism, and economic development.
