A candle light vigil was held in remembrance of the Hill Country flood victims at the Presbyterian outdoor pavilion on Sunday, July 13. Organized by the Cuero Chamber of Commerce and CDC, DeWitt residents gathered to pray for the victims and families of the July 4 flooding of the Guadalupe River in Kerr County. As of Friday, 135 persons died in the flood and 97 are missing.
