Family thanks first reponders Dear Editor,
On the afternoon of Saturday, June 21st, we experienced a medical emergency at our home in Cuero.
911 was called and within a few short minutes Emergency Medical Services, Cuero Police Department and Cuero Fire Department were pulling up in front of our home and coming inside.
The EMT’s immediately started life saving procedures while the police and fire departments secured the scene and assisted. They were successful in reviving and saving my husband’s life.
There were many professional medical technicians, firemen and policemen involved. We don’t know their names, but each and every one of them performed their duties in an expert and professional manner, showing respect for their patient, myself, and our home.
We are truly blessed and grateful to have these excellent first responders within our community. They literally saved my husband’s life and we are forever thankful and blessed.
