Reader urges positive support of Cuero ISD Dear Editor,
At the July 17, 2025 CISD board meeting it was apparent there was a movement of a few citizens to remove our existing superintendent. The group is led by the retired school board president.
Dr. Micah Dyer was hired in 2017 and has improved the district with a multitude of new opportunities for the students and community. Dr. Dyer has been rated exemplary each year with a salary raise. The additions of class opportunities in academic as well as vocational are approximately 69 functions and programs. For a list of these, please contact me at 361-648-7510.

Please stop this endeavor, and aim your energy in a positive direction. It is my hope that any disagreement of policy or questions will be handled in a Christian manner. Please be a positive example to our community.
