The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce served a wonderful breakfast to the YISD staff last Thursday.
'I would like to thank the Chamber of Commerce for its continued support and appreciation to the Yorktown ISD Staff,' Superintendent Gerald Nixon said.
Each staff member was given a ticket upon arrival from the Yorktown Economic Development Corporation and three prizes were given away. Winners were Diana Gonzales and new to the district, Coach James Duprie and John Spiller, bus driver.
Goodie bags were given out from Barry Watson, CPA to all staff. Everyone entered their names into a drawing that will be held monthly by Mr. Watson.
