Ready to make the leap into dog/pet ownership? Pet Adoptions of Cuero is ready to help you and make it happen. Currently the nonprofit, no kill shelter has its largest inventory ever of feline and canine cuties - all vetted, healthy, microchipped and socialized.
There are large dogs perfect for a ranch or a farm, medium size dogs that would love a fenced yard or play area and tiny terriers that prefer a lap or rocking chair indoor homestead. The shelter is currently offering potential adopters an opportunity to 'try it before you buy it.'
Stop by any morning to see the vast selection, spend some time in the shelter play areas with one or two chosen possible pets and then 'borrow' the pet for a weekend or week to see how it will work in your home environment.
All shelter animals may be a bit strained at a busy crowded shelter. Taking the dog home, introducing it to new quiet surroundings and new 'family' friends is the best way to find a perfect 'fit' for both the pet and the new pet parents.
