Students often think of the end of school as fun because of the field trips and play days, but tonight’s Back-to-School Bash offers not only games and treats, but free backpacks and school supplies as well.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Yorktown City Park, the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce hosts the 2025 Back-to-School Bash.
“We will have many booths set up with free school supplies, including 192 backpacks!” Katie Newman, executive chamber director, said. “There will also be kickball, basketball, popcorn, snowcones, Funtime Bubbles, and more.”
