The Republican Women of the Yoakum Area announces the keynote speaker for their next meeting/luncheon, on Wednesday, August 13. Lavaca County Sheriff Steven Greenwell and 24th Judicial District Attorney Brian Cromeens will share information on the status of law enforcement and the justice system.
RWOYA is a Republican women’s organization, with men as associate members, from Lavaca, Gonzales, and DeWitt Counties. Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Yoakum Community Center, 105 Huck St., Yoakum. Lunch is served and freewill donations appreciated. Program Speakers focus on political topics. The RWOYA Mission is to educate voters and support Republican candidates. Visitors are encouraged and welcomed to attend.
