OSPITAL A new doctor specializing in family medicine and obstetrics has joined the Cuero Regional Hospital and Medical Clinic.
Angela Watts Powell, DO, will join the medical staff in September with her practice at Cuero Medical Clinic.
Dr. Watts Powell is a Texas native, earning her medical degree at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio and completing her residency at UT Health in Athens, Texas. She has developed a passion for rural healthcare and looks forward to providing compassionate care to our community.
“When considering Cuero to be our next home, we felt like it had a little bit of everything,” Watts said. “I was looking to use my family medicine training to benefit a smaller family-centered community, and I think we found that. I am really looking forward to meeting my patients.”
