Nordheim Independent School District will serve breakfast and lunch to all students at no charge for the 2025-2026 school year, according to Supt. Kevin Wilson.
NISD is participating in the Community Eligibility Program administered by the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program. School districts in communities qualifying for the CEP program are not required to obtain applications to determine eligibility for free and reducedprice breakfasts and lunches for students individually.
Wilson said the approach reduces burdens for school officials and parents and ensures all students receive nutritious meals.
