Cuero ISD is offering its Early Learning Program free for all to attend.
All families with children ages 0-4 are invited to the Cuero ISD Early Learning Program, held weekly. Each session includes an interactive story, a handson craft, and activity stations for children to grow and explore.
Sessions are held every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Cuero Intermediate School, 502 Park Heights Drive. For more information, contact Hannah Smith at 361-275-1900 ext. 414 or Ruby Rodriguez ext. 116 (habla espaƱol).
Proponents of early learning programs say they provide significant benefits in developing cognitive ability, enhancing academic performance and developing stronger social and emotional skills.
Children in these programs are believed to be more likely to graduate high school, pursue higher education, and achieve greater financial success in adulthood. Additionally, these programs help prepare children for school, encourage a lifelong love of learning, and can even provide crucial support for parents to work or study
