Dear Editor: What an excellent time we had at the City Wide Garage Sale! On behalf of Cuero Main Street and the City of Cuero, we appreciate everyone who set-up at their homes and under the Library Market Pavilion, and our Main Street businesses that had their items set out on the sidewalk. It was great weather to see locals and visitors on the hunt for the perfect treasures, so much so, that we’re already planning to do it again in March! Get your items ready and be sure to join us for all the Fall/Winter events coming up in our beautiful, Historic Downtown District.

Dear Editor: Members of the Lindenau Rifle Club (dance hall) would like to thank the community for their support for our recent fundraiser, the Fall Sausage Feast. It takes many dedicated folks to make this event a success, and we appreciate each and every one: those who get the word out, those who sell pre-sale tickets (especially Security Storage, Anders Auto Supply, and DeWitt County Co-op, and all the Lindenau Rifle Club members), and those who do the labor-intensive preparations. All proceeds enable us to preserve the dance hall for all to enjoy.
