The 67th Annual Yorktown Western Days Festival returns Friday through Sunday, Oct. 17– 19, bringing together friends, families, and neighbors for three full days of live music, classic festival attractions, and fun-filled activities for all ages.
With free admission, this beloved community tradition offers a weekend of entertainment, parades, carnival rides, cookoffs, and vendors.
Music is always a highlight ofWesternDays,and thisyear’slineuppromises something for everyone. Headliner Stoney LaRue will close out Saturday night from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., while Nathan Colt Young kicks off the festival on Friday night from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. and David Frizzell wraps up the final day on Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday’s stage will also feature performances by Wynn Williams, Jarrod Birmingham, Devin Michaels, and Drew Oliver, along with sets from DJ Shane & Renee, who will keep the music going throughout the weekend.

Beyond the music, festival favorites also include the carnival, cookoff, craft and food vendors, car and tractor show, quilt show, arrowhead/artifact exhibit and the ever-popular Ole West Gunfighters. Family activities promise just as much excitement, with the grand parade, kiddie parade, petting zoo, mutton bustin’, pig scramble, kid’s cookoff, kid’sstickhorserodeoand kid’s tractor pull bringing joy to younger festivalgoers.
