DeWitt County proclaims 4-H Week

Four DeWitt County 4-H Ambassadors attended DeWitt County Commissioner’s Court to have the National 4-H Week Proclamation signed on Sept. 22. Every year National 4-H Week is celebrated across the country in October. This year, the dates are Oct. 5-11 with Oct. 111 being the Nationwide “One Day 4-H”. This day is a Nationwide day of community service. There will be a blood drive across the street from the Extension Office on Oct.13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., as our One Day 4-H Project. To sign up, please call the DeWitt County Extension Office at 361- 275-0816.
