Number of Head: 2018 This week we had 204 cows and 11 bulls. The packer cows were $5-$7 cheaper. On a limited number of bulls, they were
$5-$10 cheaper. The calf market was a little cheaper once again also. October always brings about a drop in prices due to larger volumes of cattle being sold and health issues in cattle at the feed lots. However, cheap is still not cheap! Cattle prices are still great. Please pray for rain.
We genuinely appreciate all our sellers and buyers. If we can help market your cattle, please give us a call at the barn at
(361)275-2329 or Jake at
(361)293-4625. Thank you.
Weaned calf sale - Rapidly approaching is our weaned date of Oct. 12th.
Sale date is December 12,
2025. Call Jake for tags at the number above.
