Meyersville ISD has changed the regular board meeting day to the second Monday of every month.
The October meeting was held October 6, the first Monday, because the Columbus Day holiday falls on the second Monday.
There was little necessary action taken as the school year is going well. There are 167 students enrolled. Average daily attendance is 95-96%.
The school has earned a 100% score on the School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas, indicating superior management of financial resources.
A recently implemented system to alert the Dewitt County Sheriff’s Office of an emergency requiring law enforcement assistance complies with a mandate from the state.
The next regular board meeting will be Monday, November 3, at 6:00 PM in the Meyersville School computer lab, 1897 Meyersville Road.
