CISD Education Foundation unveils Vo-Tech application

RTICLE In a bold step toward supporting students pursuing skilled trades and technical careers, the Cuero ISD Education Foundation has announced the launch of a dedicated Vocational/Technical Scholarship Application, available online after the first of the year.

This new application streamlines the process for students who have chosen hands-on career paths, making it easier than ever to access financial support tailored to their unique goals. Whether you’re training to become a welder, electrician, mechanic, or pursuing any other technical field, this scholarship is designed with your future in mind.

The Cuero ISD Education Foundation has long been a champion of educational opportunity, generating resources to fund innovative classroom grants and student scholarships. Their mission is clear: to invest in the future success of Cuero ISD students and alumni, no matter which path they choose.

Scholarship opportunities include: General Scholarships for Cuero High School Seniors Vocational/Technical Scholarships (available only to graduating seniors) Scholarships for Cuero High School Alumni (The Education Foundation offers one alumni scholarship: the Frederick W. Fischer ‘Helping Hands’ Scholarship, which supports Cuero High School graduates continuing their education or training beyond high school.)

These scholarships help ease the financial burden of higher education and career training, opening doors for students heading to college or building careers through technical programs.

The newly introduced Vo-Tech application reflects the Foundation’s commitment to inclusivity and adaptability. As more students pursue careers in trade and technical fields, this initiative ensures they receive the same level of support and encouragement as their collegebound peers.
